Onyx is the most underrated/under appreciated act in hip hop history IMO
They had one of the biggest impacts when they first came in the game
Had everybody rockin baldies and hockey jerseys
Coined the phrase bytchassnikka
And they dropped 3 great albums

DV Alias Khrist is also one of the most underrated nikkas

It's kinda sad that I was still able to be blown away by the skill of emceeing on this record, 20 years later. nikkas just don't rhyme like this no more at all
One of the reasons that our era is misinterpreted by these nikkas strictly focused on relevancy, record sales, and bullshyt today is they don't understand how much we loved, respected, and was guided by the mixtape DJs at the time
They put heads onto shyt sometimes years before it got to the mainstream, so by the time the corny nikkas from the suburbs was playing their major release CD's, we was already off that shyt and rockin to that next shyt
And there's plenty of records that the average hip hop fan has no idea exists that was LARGE back in the day strictly off mixtapes
Not nikkas passing albums off as mixtapes because they can't sell them, mixtapes full of the newest, dopest shyt from the best artists doing it
Records like Evil Streetz Remix/Purse Snatchaz 2, that never made a major label release (outside of Sticky's verse), but was knockin in every car, and was way more respected than nikkas radio singles or chart positions
