There was a time in the 90's when Hip Hop was caught up in that whole 'the world will end in 2000' nonsense...This song along with many others that would follow was supposed to be a set up for the big let down that would soon come. Classic song by the way.

My favorite song from Onyx....sad how many people slept on this album...it dropped around the time that Clockers came out so it fit in perfectly with that grimey, dark movie.. at the people saying the Onyx version was not the best...sad shyt really

they didn't even attempt to rekindle the success of SLAM.
