You can hire a manager but the lease, which is what the business is, is renewed annually

You likely have little chance. I considered it, so I went to an info session in LA. There had to be at least 200 to 300 people there. You have to fill out an extremely long application. The whole process starts with like 20,000+ applicants a year and I think a handful end up with franchises in areas the company desires. The startup costs also far exceed the 10k franchise fee. You probably need at least 100k net worth.

At least I got a free sandwich at the event.
