As many of you heard, witnessed, and made known through your negative reps - there was an incident yesterday that was founded in racially ignorance. I would like to address my peers in the coliseum both openly and truthfully. Many of you know me, you know I'm one of the reasons SOHH.com had a sports forum and was named king of TLR for 3 years straight.
Now, I don't mind being called white, being banned (I have several IPs and usenames that I can utilize), or being the ire of the board. What I want to point out is the double standard that exists, where posters can make unbridaled attacks on white posters without any "moderation" being done to eliminate these acts from an racially ignorant and unqualified moderator.
I don't expect black posters to ride with me on this. I found Peter Vescey depiction of white people, mentalities to sports, and posters opinions completely racially ignorant and discriminatory. I'm singling him out but many of you have done similar to others without consequence. In turn, I made a well thought out racially ignorant statement myself in a hyperbolic fashion - obviously this went over your heads and most couldn't grasp the facetiousness of my post, which is somewhat ironic but I digress.
I demand that some civil rights are given to all posters to post there opinions without racial attacks - this is my march on Washington. This is my petition. I hope others who have witness such acts will follow suit and ask for a change of how certain races are treated and the end of the vitriolic rhetoric that is being spewed against us.
I also would like to see the retirement of the word "CAC" except amongst those who are actually white as we can use this word as a term of endearment.
Lastly, I would like to see the retirement of "Chicago" as moderator. I am asking him to take it upon himself to "step down" and in his stead there should be a senate setup voted amongst his/her peers.
