I think on a superficial level opposites are attracted to each other, but for real sustainability you need to be and usually end up with people who are similar to you.

I think it depends on what levels you're referring to?

Being alike in goals and ambition is one thing and can be beneficial.

Being alike in personality if both are boisterous loud and obnoxious

If both are quiet and reserved you may get absolutely nothing done or accomplished.

So I think its complex and a combination of things. When you are very alike in many ways a lot of things needn't even be said its a natural telepathy if you will. Just a look communicates volumes.

And when you differ in ways you feed off one another's energy and learn exciting things about one another and grow.

Soon as I started working on myself, I've started meeting more established men. The problem then became me not feeling good enough or worthy enough for them. Now, I'm working on that.

People and relationships should be taken as lessons. You learn what you like or dislike, what you will tolerate, how you react in certain situations and what you need to work on.

Get to know different people, people who are opposite and people who are similar.
