Norway still hunts whales, so they don't wanna start fukking around in them northern waters. I will say, if a kid gets injured or someone dies falling off one of these attacked boats, those orcas gonna be on sight

Removing all orcas, also known as killer whales, from the northern seas would have far-reaching effects, due to their position in the ecosystem. Orcas are top predators, and their removal would significantly alter the food chain. These potential impacts might include:

  1. Population Increase of Prey Species: With the elimination of one of their primary predators, the population of species that orcas prey upon, such as seals, sea lions, and various fish species, could significantly increase.
  2. Ecosystem Disruption: An increase in the population of these prey species might, in turn, have cascading effects on their prey populations, potentially leading to overgrazing, habitat destruction, and the disruption of other ecological balances.

no one is advocating for removing them entirely - but same as sharks getting killed when they injure a person, this pod is likely to be cut down if injuries start happening

unlike sharks, they are intelligent and they will adjust. best chance is to use sound to annoy them away, but then that will happen to the fish the fisher men are trying to catch.
