Interesting. Didn't know that bit of history. I wonder how many white nationalist types moving there know that history. Carving out the Pacific Northwest as their own has long been a goal in those circles. That area is a hotbed for white nationalists, skinheads, militias, alt right, etc.. Before we met, an ex of mine left Florida to take a job in Portland.
