never mind Staples blocked it from the online checker. I'm glad I went when I did because word is Staples is circulating an email now telling managers not to accept the coupon with these iPads anymore.

That's the thing about these deals you gotta just jump on it and not ask questions. I saw it on Slickdeals and in less than 5 minutes was in the car on my way to Staples. The manager looked dumbfounded. I bet he's already horded the rest of them. People on Slickdeals were buying multiple ones as well.

The original iPad Air wasn't excluded but Staples is telling their people to exclude it now. The regular price is $399 the coupon says it works on any tablet regular price $399 makes no mention of the current selling price. It's just something they overlooked and now they're getting burned over it. I'm will to bet tomorrow this is dead completely.

yeah they nixed this yesterday late in the day. Staples corporate sent out an email saying not to accept the coupons on iPad Airs anymore. you might have gotten away with it yesterday but they all know today.

The SD effect is no joke. You definitely have to be fast. Got some 2 TB hard drives a few years ago for $45 like that. As soon as I read the thread, I went straight to Staples.

I'm on Slickdeals all the time. If there's a loophole on a policy or a coupon these guys find it and exploit it. If you don't get on it right there the stores usually close the loopholes and the deal is dead. I still remember that Walmart fiasco last year or even the cheap PS4s, 3DS, and Wii Us this year.

Yeah I was like that for years, then I had to let it go. I started spending hundreds on shyt I didn't need just because of the great deals I'll be back in the swing of things for my Christmas shopping though

Touch ID and the processor in the 2 is faster. The 2 is also slimmer.

I think they arn't accepting it anymore because the actual coupon says "$100 off of any tablet that is $399 and higher!". The iPad Air is $299.

I think the sales associates at Staples didn't read the coupon right, and just went with it.
