Looney Tunes had a show on Cartoon Network just a few years ago. Millions of kids go to Six Flags every year. They're way more relevant than Power Rangers. So my point is if there's a market to cash in on Power Rangers, there's def a market to cash in on Looney Tunes. They are never going to be THAT irrelevant.
Is Six Flags still using Looney Tunes as one of their main attractions? Always thought that faded out since 2004. It's sad for me to think kids today would only know Bugs Bunny or any other character from Six Flags rather than the actual Looney Tunes show. I mean it is what it is, but damn. I'm only 19 but luckily enough I was able to watch reruns in my childhood to familiarize myself with the franchise.

The last show related to looney tunes was over ten years ago and got bad ratings, I just looked it up.

The Power Rangers movie isn't even guaranteed to suicide, it probably bomb, the studio is just trying to cash in on superhero movie craze, and they will most likely fail in that endeavor.
Um no

power rangers been on TV for 20 goddamn years with new shows. When the last time looney tunes had a show.

Also they making Power Rangers to cash on on Nostalgia from adults who watched it has kids.

So it wouldn't make sense to make another Space Jam "to cash in on nostalgia from adults who watched it as kids?"

Before you answer, keep in mind who's going to see these Marvel, Star Wars, and Peanuts movies that came out recently...

So Space Jam appeals to adults?

Adults: Let me get two adult tickets....no kids.

:heh:

If motivated kids aren't the ones dragging some adult to watch this movie, I don't see This being successful.

So this isn't about the 10th Space Jam-related thread on here this week?

Kids: "What we going to see this one for?"
Adults: "When you start paying for the tickets, we'll watch what y'all pick."

It's a sports board and it surrounds a sports figure. How that parlays into adult ticket purchase interest, please explain.

Half the dues in here are being rightfully clowned for using adult measures for a movie geared to kids.

Sports appeal to children, too.

Why'd you click in here?
Looney Tunes is what appealed to children.

Plus...this was 1996. Back then it was MAJOR when tv characters made it to the big screen. Now, it's common.

Yeah, just Looney Tunes...not Michael Jordan, right?

Nobody wanted to be "Like Mike", right?
Many did. But I had a child back then. It was all about the Looney Tunes for her
