You can mod a wii yourself, look up your wii firmware version and google or youtube that with "wii softmod"

how do you get the entire virtual console unlocked?I've got a Terrabyte of just Wii games.

You also get the entire virtual console library, every emulated console, and downloadable only games.
Also, I can play emulators with the wiimote. Certain old games can even be set up for motion controls. I can swing the wiimote to use the sword in zelda 1 on nes
Classic controller is set up like an SNES controller, so it feels correct playing old school stuff like Chrono Trigger or F-Zero.
It'll also let you play movies and dvds, and attach harddrives straight to the usb ports in back once its modded.
The Wii got me so much p*ssy in college...
ME: "Hey, this party is winding down... I think I'm gonna go home and start up the wii"
HER: "Ooh... you have a wii? Those things look so fun. I want to try one..."
ME: "Well... I don't stay too far from here..."
Modded Wii has a music player... so soon as I let her get her heartrate going playing Wii Tennis and I'm behind her helping her adjust her swing, I can exit out of game and pop on that Nate Dogg playlist.
ME: "Looks like we still partying girl... come chill with me on the bed..."

Once the system is modded you can import/export the virtual console games like any other file onto the HDD. They are just roms.
They are in .wad format and range from 20 - 50 mb. Pretty small file size. Works for WiiWare games also.
Search virtual console on KAT or TPB.
The entire library is less than 20 gbs.

What is KAT and TPB?
Original Wii Discs work with the Wii U. Also, all of your virtual console purchases on the Wii can transfer to the Wii U as well. Game Cube discs do not work with the Wii U.

I have a modded OG xbox. Got over 4000 games on it. Actually more. I have like every game from Atari thru N64 on it.
google nintendont, with it you can play gc games off sd card or usb, you don't need a game in disc drive anymore. It also lets you use other controllers like a ps3 controller, pc joypads, and the wii pro controller. Double Dash was running smoothly
