I'm not a Christian but from what I know about Christians "demonology" - her description sounds like the "Jezebel" or the "Leviathan" spirits/demons they believe in -- not Mami Wata.

Op here's another video on traditional African religions. And in a aspect the christians had to demonize indigenous people to justify the slaughter of them.
I wish that thread was still up it had a few resources for both I used it when I was studying those traditions.
The only thing I’ll say is if any of this sh1t is true how the fucck were white peoples able to come into Africa and enslave Africans. All this otherworldly powers could have came in handy back then to save the slaves.

I was looking for that documentary for the longest time. However, I couldn't find the full version. I had done some research on the topic more but generally, if a religion such as Santeria, obeah, and etc is used to help the individual, the priest's work is called white witchcraft because the priest is seeking for a way to only help an individual but if it's used to harm others, their work is usually called black witchcraft because an unseen force is called upon to harm or kill someone.
