Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
Fact is, I cant argue with what you're saying here, but I think it's crazy to dismiss a kid with this much athleticism. If he puts in the time in the weight room, he can minimize the lack of an inch or two in height that would make him a prototypical 4. He's not gonna be a stretch 4 by any means, so he's gonna need to get to work in that paint. His shooting struggles baffle me because the man has nice touch around the basket, and his shot isn't hideous by any means. Look for yourself.

Is it Ray Allen from the outside? Is it Hakeem around the basket? No. But the kid has a good feel for the ball. I think he can be worked with. At least I pray he can. The thing is, although this draft was deep with talent .. outside of the top three .. there weren't many other top 5 talents (if that makes sense) After the bog 3, the talent dropped off. There was still a good amount of talent left in the first round .. but no one that you would say 'yea .. that dudes going 4, guaranteed'

He doesn't have the size to play PF, he's only 220lbs and for all the talk about how athletic he is his vertical was only 2" higher than Vonleh's who outweighs him by 30lbs. If he adds weight, how will it affect his athleticism? Fam, we've seen this before, from Tyrus Thomas to Wesley Johnson, the hyper athletic dude that doesn't really have a position -

Look at that video and tell me how it differs from his, also I remember 2 years ago Thomas Robinson was murdering dudes in workouts as well. I know you want to be optimistic but I just don't see how he fits on on the Magic, you kind of have a dude like him already in Harkless. I could see if your team had shooters to give him the room he needs, but the lane is going to be absolutely packed and everyone on your squad is gonna get the green light from opposing teams to prove they can make shots.

Oakland CA
Chris Kaman
Tim Duncan
Andrew Bogut
Jermaine O'Neal
Pau Gasol
David West

Not that many, but that's off the top of my head so there may be plenty more.

Ironically, the most ambidextrous big man in the league is a natural left hander (David Lee).

Bogut is a bum, it took O'Neal 6-7 years to develop, Gasol took years to develop, West is decent..

Randle has time to improve.

Cause it's the Magic we're talkin about here :sadcam:

It's sposed to be the happiest place on earth ... :to:

LOL @ that, but I like the picks. It shows that this team wants to be defensively minded on the perimeter, and with Vucevic not being a rim protector, you're going to need guys who will be bulldogs. I think Hennigan has some faith in the coaching staff and their ability to develop this kid into something. For now, he'll be a bamma/utility guy that rebounds and defends. I know that's not what you want for the fourth pick's rookie year, but I think he'll improve. Oh, I agree with you on the MKG jumper comparisons. That dude's mechanics were:scusthov:

Like I said .. we're gonna have to put 20-25 pounds on him and make him a 4. If it's good weight, I don't see it hurting his athleticism much. I could be wrong, so I guess we'll have to wait and see. As for the Harkless comparison .. it's not a great one. Neither is the Wes Johnson one. Mo Hark wants nothing to do with the paint at all. He's strictly a perimeter guy and that's that. That might be what actually contributed to him not getting much burn this past season. Wesley Johnson is basically a 2/3 that spends the majority of his time on the perimeter. Thomas Robinson is a good comparison because honestly .. I thought he was gonna be solid right off the bat, but obviously that's not the case. I'd like to think Gordon's bball iq will give him a leg up .. so we'll see on that too. We gotta stay positive fam. Not one guy in this draft is a lock for stardom. Very few kids are.

As a WIldcats fan I watched every game he played. I think you guys are underestimating his athleticism. He's only 18 and has a high ceiling. Obviously Orlando saw something in him. :sas1:

He is going to be anything but a bust, and i'm going to be upping this thread in a few years to laugh at yall :sas2:

What in the fukk, seriously? How you waste a perfectly good 4th pick on fukking Aaron Gordon?. Exum, Randle, Smart, and Vonleh are all>>> Gordon. And Elfrid Payton is fukking :trash:. Orlando  and are no longer worthy to tank.

I didn't understand that Pick neither. I honestly would have taken Randle with that Pick.
