Yeah I wanted Exum. I mean if you're gonna pick a questionable pick with Gordon they might as well have gone with others.

He can play defense against college 4s, it's up in the air on whether or not he can guard NBA 3s or 4s.

Three point shooting will be a big issue, your 1, 2, 3 can't shoot from 3 if you're playing Harris at SF.

Nah, he's not as big as Blake, he's 6'8.75" without shoes, Blake is 6'8.5" without them. He has prototypical SF height and his arms aren't necessarily long either (6'11" wingspan), also Blake shot 59% from the line as a freshman while Aaron was a 42% shooter. He's got the game and skills of a defensive 4 or 5, but in the body of a 3, I know everybody wants the next Kawhi and hopes to turn the undersized college PF into an NBA SF that can shoot, but the odds of that happening are pretty low.

When the best things you can say about a top 5 pick are they are a high character guy, and they play solid defense, chances are it's a bad pick :ld: I heard all the same things about MKG and he was an even better college player than Gordon and has a defined position, but broken offense is broken offense and taking a high character defender in the top 5 is just :whoa:

I like Payton, he is a great pick for your team, but you can't sell me on Gordon, he has really high bust potential.

That ain't up in the air at all breh. He's one of the best defensive players in the draft. He can guard up to four positions if he puts on a little more weight if not than he can guard three positions and can switch on pick and rolls. He and Kaleb Tarzuski are the reason why Arizona was the top ranked D in the country.

He doesn't have a position you're right but his defense and versatility and bbiq will keep him around. I thought 4 was a little too high to take him but if everything goes right he could be Shawn Marion or Kirilenko. There is a very high bust potential here if you're expecting him to score 25 a night for you. If he reaches his potential he could be a great 2nd or 3rd option.

If this doesn't prove he can guard NBA 3s then idk what will :manny:

Orlando did good. Gordon = Leonard in college and Leonard turned out just fine. He will either turn into Marion/AK47 or Leonard. The thing with Gordon he will have an positive impact on the game. Who is the defensive stopper for the Magic right now?.. Exactly. Plus with Payton you get a PG that can push the ball and great on defense as well. Payton, Oladipo, and Gordon on defense :whew: they shooting going be :huhldup:at first though until/if they get better

Aaron Gordon is gonna be good. People like to focus on what he cant do opposed to what he can do. He impacts the game without having to score, every team can use a guy like that. With a guy athletic as he is, im not sure about the tweener concerns. At worst he's Shawn Marion

I don't see why you draft Gordon when you have a gluttony of guys harkless, Harris, Nicholson who are all young. Should have drafted a legit pg or point guard

That's why they made the move for Payton. They worked on Marcus Smart and Dante Exum and obviously saw something there they didn't like. There was even talks about drafting Marcus Smart at 2 if he declared last year instead of Oladipo. The more you see someone, the more you find out about them :beli:
