My best case scenario is Cody debuting as a masked wrestler that interferes in Haitch's fukkery; saving D.Bry from Shield attacks, helping Ziggler etc.

HHH trying to capture this masked hero saying he knows its Cody, but hes always a step behind.

Cody's masked persona would be second most over face in the company, easily. He could have the same moveset as Cody but with different names.

In the end I think this ends up with Golddust/Dustin turning heel in order to get that match with Cody at Mania that he has been campaigning about for a couple of years now.

Sure that's possible. But they'd be sacrificing a huge Goldust pop on TV if they did it that way. They've established that Goldust is Cody's eccentric brother, so they're safe going with the Goldust character.

If he just walks out as Dustin Rhodes, there ain't gonna be a pop.
