Doesn't matter the minute he heard his "dad" had cancer he should have made amends and put the past behind him. The old man was on his way out , sure the dad could have made amends as well but his not the one that was given the short straw in the will.

Why does the son have to chase his pops to make amends? Assuming the kid wanted to go out on his own and build his own legacy, then he was in the right and Oscar was in the wrong.
