I don't think someone should be sitting in a jail cell for 20-25 years for one murder.
So what would be the appropriate number of years you would agree with for someone who killed your moms, wife, or one of your children?

I dunno, I just think there are just too many variables.
I mean say some dude raped your kid....and got away with it. you go get revenge and kill the dude.
Now what you did was fukked up and not right...BUT at the end of the day you did what society couldn't do and that was take out a bigger threat to society.
WHy should you go to prison for life for that?
Also I think Prisons in general are fukked. We need more rehabilitation centers, not just prisons.
Prisons should be like work camps. put these dudes to work(with wages) and let them be less of a scourge on society and give back.
It costs too much money to keep ppl in prison, and on top of that when they get out they just become this bigger drain on society..can't find a decent job and usually end up back in prison again.
I think prisoners should be given an opportunity to be trained and given jobs in prison.
For example
some dude gets caught up stealing cars or some non violent crime(thyese are the criminals I'm mostly talking about)
now he's going to jail for 5 years.
Get this guy trained up as a welder or something for example. Then employ him working in his trade.
At some prison factory where they build car parts or some shyt.
then when he gtes out he as a built in resume with training and with a good clean record and recomendation from his prison counsellor he could get a start up job in the community and be able to provide better. Hoipefully givining him a chance to stay out of the system
