OP don't ever disrespect Bryce Da God again. :comeon:
We are all witnesses :wow:

Witnesses to mediocrity? Dude is batting .258. and .332 /.418 /.750. Only has 3 extra-base hits since the ASB.

This is why I never understood why they wanted to lump him with Trout. Harper most likely won't even win the NL ROY :heh:.

We're really scrutinizing a fukking 19 year old? Do you know how long it takes to develop into a good Major Leaguer? All Bryce has to do is make adjustments. I was watching the MLB Network and Harold made a point that Bryce is pulling the ball too much instead of naturally going the other way like he normally does. I can't believe you said that he only has an arm. He can run, throw, hit for power, and his tendency to go the other way says that he would bat for average. The kid plays hard on every play.

Incorrect.

19-year old seasons

Alex Rodriguez
150 PA, .232/.264/.408, 71 OPS+, 5 HR

Ken Griffey Jr.
506 PA, .264/.329/.420, 108 OPS+, 16 HR

Albert Pujols
Wasn't in professional baseball...drafted in 2000 at age 20.

Bryce Harper
326 AB, .258/.332/.420., 103 OPS+, 9 HR

Oscar Taveras
PLAYING A BALL IN QUAD CITIES.

Bryce Harper is having one of, if not the best seasons EVER for a 19-year old.

And you're an idiot.

You do know that the minors are professional leagues right. :dwillhuh:

Pujols was .324 / .389 / .565 in 109 games at single A.

Griffey was .318 / .425 / .572 in the minors and a-rod .328 / .390 / .602

You see a trend here? Worldbeaters have no problems destroying minor league pitching at 19.
Only once did I mean mlb production. Learn how to read before you cast others as idiots.

That was Pujols 20-year old season.

Griffey didn't have single minor league at-bat during his 19-year old season.

Even so, Bryce Harper had better numbers in A ball at 18 than Pujols did at 20. Their age MATTERS.

Why do you care so much what these guys did in the minors? That literally means nothing. Do you know how many kids have TORCHED minor league pitching only to do nothing in the majors? Brandon Wood? Corey Patterson? Jeremy Hermida?

But, like I said, that doesn't really matter. Bryce Harper is a 19-year old kid MORE than holding his own against major league pitching. That is incredibly impressive.

The fact that you're using three of the greatest players in the last 20 years as his measuring stick speaks volumes about his skill set.

There are only a handful of players who can claim to have as good or better 19-year old seasons in the major leagues...and they're all in/heading to the Hall of Fame.

He didn't deserve to be an All-Star, but to say what he's doing as a 19-year old in a crummy lineup in the middle of a pennant race isn't impressive is crazy.

How many 19-year olds have had ANY success at the plate in the Majors?

Bet Taveras wouldve had more success at the plate with the best offense in the league :shaq:

Harper 330 at bats and only 9 hr's 29 rbi's while batting 259 :flabbynsick:

Was :flabbynsick: even before he got called up. Bet the nationals selling jerseys though. :heh:
