It is quite possible to think 12 Years is a great and necessary movie and a great story, and still be a bit tired of black actors being typecast in that way. It's very possible to celebrate that movie and still recognize the limited opportunities for people of color and the few stories of them that are told. But I guess that is above most of you. I truly and genuinely pity you all.
