It's always been like that. You had a bunch of street dudes from different hoods/blocks, that didn't know each other, throw them together and think they gonna get along?
It's well known that O & Beans didn't mess with each other from the gate. Nothing has changed. They're cordial sometimes, but mostly at odds. Aside from Chris, and they stopped being close like that, I don't think anyone messes with Neef. And Beans don't really mess with them outside of Free...maybe Chris, here and there. Once the spotlight stopped shining on them, and they all came back to Philly, they were still working, doing tracks together except the combos of people that don't like each other. Beans avoided everyone but Chris & Free (I think he has one track with Sparks & Peedi and it's the same one), Free worked with everyone, O was mostly with Peedi (Sparks didn't put out music), Chris didn't work with Sparks, O and hardly Neef.
Free is the only one that really gets along with everyone.

if you ever saw that mini Rocafella doc about how the State Property album was recorded you'd know Neef didn't fukk with them like that.
Dame took them all down to Miami to record because Bleek's family member, i think his brother was in accident so Dame wanted to keep the family side of it up and show support so they were all down there recording the album. they spoke about how Neef was just awkward and anti-social, didn't want to be there, hardly recorded and insinuated he would have rather been on the block than doing it.
i wish the documentary of them recording the first album was still on youtube.
i'm sure it was ChokeNoJoke that had it up on youtube at the time. been missing for years.
Rocafella always gave off a family vibe but they were dysfunctional as hell.

State Property didn't have problems with Dipset personally but they felt neglected because Dipset came in with a hustlers mentality, working as a unit and had them all the employees working for them..Cam had guys like Wayno doing side jobs for extra cash whereas State Prop were the opposite. a mess.
then people started using Cam's name to hype up Beans...i think it was Big Face Gary that told the story that when they didn't think a Beans verse was up to par they'd say Cam was better etc...then Cam tried to make Peedi Dipset. gave Peedi a remix for One For Peedi, Jay heard it and told him to delete Cam's verse then Peedi was playing it in a hotel room Beans snapped the cd with Cam's verse was on.
all the while Cam was deleting Jay-Z verses, sending subliminals at Jay, Juelz was saying Cam took over the Roc, Jim Jones and Bleek got into over a dice game after Bleeks man refused to shoot the fair one with Jim, which led to problems later when Peedi said he saw Bleek and his peoples mean mugging Juelz at a Rocawear shoot, the obvious Cam VP shyt which annoyed everyone, Dipset because they were from Harlem were seen as Dames favorites, Cam would send Jim and Juelz to record at Nores studio so people wouldn't steal Juelz wave, State Prop would fight about keeping boxes of Rocawear clothing at video shoots, Dame signed ODB and he was a nightmare, Dipset roughed him up because he said "fukk Juelz" on stage, nobody in State Prop could stay out of jail, Just Blaze played Heatmakerz in front of Jay, Dame was making Just Blaze cry over jerseys and belts, Beans had to defend Kanye at a restaurant, Jay was recovering from the Nas beef and trying to woo Beyonce so Dame told Cam to stay away from Beyonce on his promo run with Destinys Child, Dipset get left off the Roc the mic tour, Dame signed Victoria Beckham and had her rubbing Freekey Zeke's bulletwounds in the studio and Ye wasn't took serious as a rapper till Biggs said we're not losing him and then the eventual break up.......but thats still my favorite label and they made magic.
