I think this where people get things confused. Russell Wilson is a running QB, NOT a spread option/pistol whatever the hell you call that gimmick offense QB. Wilson did very little of that at NC State and didn't do it at all at Wisconsin. Offense he had in college, he had to read a defense. Wilson is more like a Steve Young type QB. Also Wilson is comfortable taking snaps under center and do the 3 and 5 step drops. Kaep looked horrible when running an offense under center. These gimmick offense QB's are too one dimensional.

The NFL defenses are too smart for the gimmick offense. You notice that shyt works for one season, then it gets shut down the next. RG3 and Kaep looked unstoppable the first year in those offense catered to their college days. The next season not so much. It's like the Wildcat offense, shyt worked for a season and that was it.

No bias I'm a 49ers fan and I'm putting my own QB in the mix. It's just fact that the QB's in the gimmick offense don't fare well in the NFL.

You're missing my point tho, mariotta is more Wilson than Kaep/Rg3 in the sense he runs to pass His head is always downfield. Thats all I was saying.

I never understood how QB's get praised for doing shyt that is not in real live action. I'm not knocking Jones, but I go by what he is doing on the field. He is kicking ass and asking questions later. OSU offense looked like shyt before this kid. They struggled with bullshyt teams. There is no struggling now.

Also what the fukk is up with this 3rd sting QB bullshyt. If you know football, in college the third string could be better than the starter, which is true in this case. Third string is only bad in the NFL, they are usually booty.
