Who cares? If you throw on one knee in a game, you are down by contact.

What good is this?

nikka Barrett had the most TDs at his position at the time, offense was rolling after the VT game
I never understood how QB's get praised for doing shyt that is not in real live action. I'm not knocking Jones, but I go by what he is doing on the field. He is kicking ass and asking questions later. OSU offense looked like shyt before this kid. They struggled with bullshyt teams. There is no struggling now.

Also what the fukk is up with this 3rd sting QB bullshyt. If you know football, in college the third string could be better than the starter, which is true in this case. Third string is only bad in the NFL, they are usually booty.

A QB's ability to throw from his knees like Flacco, Stafford, etc signals exceptional arm strength. Having a rare arm means that a QB has more room for error. A QB like Flacco can throw into smaller windows and consequently afford to make more mistakes with his reads. Even when Flacco isn't playing well, his arm opens up short coverage and can punish a team for a lack of deep coverage. Strong-armed QBs also have an advantage in the red zone. The windows are smaller and an exceptional arm can be the difference between TD and FG. Much of Flacco's success is due to his arm.

I'm impressed. Back in high school, one of my best friends could toss a football 70 yards in the air like nothing and he never played football. His main sport was tennis. Always had me like :whew:.

drafting jones may be tricky because of sample size but hes gonna kill it at the combine and the QB class isnt all that strong. if he doesnt come out this year hes a fool

Like Sanchez in 09....was a weak QB draft and he made the smart move financially in leaving USC after being a one year starter

Why not Russel wilson...Mariotta has mastered keeping his head downfield while running.

Kaep and RG3 not so much

Edit:nvm @Brady-Carter post on you shows you got some bias

I think this where people get things confused. Russell Wilson is a running QB, NOT a spread option/pistol whatever the hell you call that gimmick offense QB. Wilson did very little of that at NC State and didn't do it at all at Wisconsin. Offense he had in college, he had to read a defense. Wilson is more like a Steve Young type QB. Also Wilson is comfortable taking snaps under center and do the 3 and 5 step drops. Kaep looked horrible when running an offense under center. These gimmick offense QB's are too one dimensional.

The NFL defenses are too smart for the gimmick offense. You notice that shyt works for one season, then it gets shut down the next. RG3 and Kaep looked unstoppable the first year in those offense catered to their college days. The next season not so much. It's like the Wildcat offense, shyt worked for a season and that was it.

No bias I'm a 49ers fan and I'm putting my own QB in the mix. It's just fact that the QB's in the gimmick offense don't fare well in the NFL.
