I'm TIGHT. Quicken doesn't work :pacspit:
fukk I'm gone do now?
And the whole thing feels....sluggish some how, I got 8GB RAM
Did a clean install too
Mine smooth as fukk, I got 8gb ram too. What mac you got? Only thing i'm hating so far is that i gotta wait for the page to load before swiping back. And to swipe back or forth now, it seems like i gotta have a longer swipe or else it won't do anything.

Somewhere tropic...
Oh aight, thought you had a MBP. My rmbp is probably more powerful. Hit up them macrumors forums & see if anyone else has the same problem & if they did anything to fix it...

I mean it's OK just not as zippy as Mavericks was. It seems like web pages take longer to load too. I'm using Chrome. I have a newer MBP too but , haven't installed Yosemite on it yet.

Chrome is ass on my MB. When I use Safari, I can get like 15-17 hours on on battery. On Chrome it drops to like 4-5 hours maybe less. I can have iMovie open, Safari w/ 8+ tabs, iTunes etc open & the fan won't come on. If I have Chrome open w/ a couple tabs for 5-10 mins that fan comes on loud as hell. I didn't even know this shyt had a fan until i downloaded Chrome :dead:

I only use chrome or firefox on here if i need to use a specific extension/addon

Correct. people give safari he'll but that's the best out there when it comes to laptops. Does not take up any memory and smooth. Chrome is like a freaking virus if you ask me

Yeah I noticed that shyt too. Mavericks went from having :lawd: battery life to lasting 3 or so hours. I did a clean install of Yosemite and don't use FF/Chrome at all and I'm back in business with 10+ hours at lower brightness

Running smooth on my MB Air 4 GB. I installed it on release day. I think you will be fine
I ended up installing it. shyt's slower now, but not terrible. Apps just take longer to load (which makes no sense on an ssd, but whatever :manny:)

It's still fast, just not as fast as before. It could be worse :manny:

Yeah, it's just not as "snappy"

Like the MS suite takes longer to load and apps are like a second slower to open up. Like I said, nothing terrible, but just a bit slower (we're just talking split seconds here though....shyt's still faster than a HDD)
