Thats still hella strange that she knew what ****** meant. if shes talking to you in english, shes probably an ABC (americanborn chinese) or studied abroad. I take it she was probably explaining the tooth brush. Man asians arent confrontational like that, they wouldnt dare. Theyre not about that action.
and nah we are def viewed as american first, black second. TRUST ME, because Im the only AA in my city. The rest are african, and I notice a slight difference in treatment...... (ill reserve that for another thread).
In fact its very very common for taxi drivers and random strangers on the street to try and guess if Im african or american, most saying things like (gotta be american, hes not so dark) or (he has an american style, look tattoos). They dont know I understand some mandarin and can hear them.
I never been treated like shyt abroad, maybe...MAYBE thailand, but I think people are just a$$holes in Bangkok tbh. Theyre always trying to pull money out your pockets. Not sure if it was cause I was lone, black, or looked like a sucka LOL. Id have to go with a group or hang with some thais to know. Other than that, Im american abroad and get treated as such.
