Other than fighting games what disadvantage does pc gaming have

how is it less competition using a controller???
alot of them point click nikkas absolutely suck on consoles, and vice versa. its funny as fukk when a point/click nikka plays on console and gets frustrated cuz he can't live without his expensive gaming kb/m setup. then they get all yeasty and call console brethren "inferior"
If anything, everyone playing with the same input is fair competition. the nikka with the quickest fingers wins, not the one with the macro'd gamerpad.

BF4 is the first multiplayer game that I dove into for PC, and it's always hilarious after a team get's destroyed by like 400 tickets guys coming in and droppin' that "good game" afterwards

You seem like a cool muhfukka and you dropped some real info, but I think the bolded encapsulates the issue.it does have some of my other favorite games that aren't available on other platforms (Frozen Synapse, Chivalry, Speedrunners, The Swapper, Rogue Legacy, Binding of Isaac). I'd rather play shooters on PC but I don't think it makes any sense to play sports game online on PC yet. Everyone has a PC so playing games on it is already an option - most people just don't even want to try.
And talking about it's some nerd shyt?It's video games. All of you play video games, primarily physically alone. I've played more games with friends in the same room as me on a PC than anything else this year. Again, that's partially because I use a laptop and I can bring it with me wherever I want. Options...
I have no idea what any of those games are and never will. I'm happy to pick my PS3 up, play Fifa/GTA, maybe some Fight Night, then call it a day.
I get it that if this is your passion then PC gaming might be a way to go. But I'll never be that into it so it's ehh to me.
I can definitely understand that. There are a lot of people like that. And for them, why should they spend whatever extra amount to play the same games they were going to play anyway.
I think there is some audience of people that would play the types of games I listed when they come to console but refuse to give them a try on PC. A good example of this is the Vita thread. Over in the Vita thread they're foaming at the mouth over games like Assault Android Cactus, Hotline Miami and Terraria, Meanwhile, when those games came out or were announced for PC they were like
Sometimes they have good reason for that (Vita's portable!) sometimes they don't ("I don't have a gaming PC" - these are games you can play on an old ass computer most likely). Anyway, yeah man - I definitely get where you're coming from. You don't sound like you playing these types of games where ever they are.
