Tell me when to go is his worst song , that hyphy era was trash

Captain save a Hoe is bigger than sprinkle me, that’s e40 most iconic song, but I’m from a different era than most of y’all

Y’all from the era after e40 reinvented himself during hyphy era, by then he had already had a over decade long career, I looked at it as him just trying to stay relevant, obviously after that he made more hits and still relevant today….
Don't try the old "i'm an OG fan yall new" bullshyt...I had the tape to FEDERAL, and saw 40 live twice, including at the grimey ass RIVER ROCK in detroit back in like 02 :rudy: and met him and the mossie at that show.

That high and mighty shyt is corny, and most of us clearly been listening to 40 forever going by the replies alone :camby:

Congratulations :yeshrug: if you like that goofy hyphy shyt that’s on you

From the replies I read alot of people saying they familiar with 40 from tell me when to go or sprinkle me, I don’t know how they missed captain save a hoe I feel that put him on the map and was some of his most innovative work

Tell me when to go was a copy of Mac Dre style and other hyphy artist, I don’t think that was e40 best work, but if you’re from a later era you wouldn’t be exposed to his original work, that’s what my post was addressing

for people outside of the West coast its Tell Me When To Go

but i feel like if you live somewhere in the west coast/west side : Anywhere in Cali, Phoenix, Tucson, Vegas, Seattle

depending on where you live in the region it can differ from what the rest of the world got put onto by him.
Given that 40 always resonated and appealed to west side/west coast people and its where he got most of his fans and first support.

Here in PHX alot of people know 40 for Captain Save a Hoe. and got put onto him by that song back in the day.
