we didn't tho

....but if we don't make drastic schematic changes we will be losing to Texas for years to come.
@QuintessentialBM - what's the word up there in Oklahoma amongst the people?
There's a bunch of rumors going around that have nothing to do with what's happened this season. Word on the street is Michigan wants Joe Castiglione as the next AD and Joe may take him to Ann Arbor. Bob loves working for Joe, so this could be a possible scenario. Mike goes wherever Bob goes. Stay tuned on that.
As for the season, it was lost after we dropped to TCU, so losing a couple more games isn't going to do much more damage than it already has. As long as we beat OSU, the season won't be a complete disaster.
Looking towards next year, the OL will be the weakest unit, but Bill Bedenbaugh has shown competence. We'll be a little short-handed on depth, so finding some JUCO will be mandatory. The areas of the team that are suffering the most are QB, LB & WR right now. If Stoops doesn't bolt out of Norman, the next coaches to be terminated are will be those three positions. OU has an recruiting image problem. It's not sexy to play football at Oklahoma or in-state.... period. We're getting leftovers now at premium positions. The staff needs to fix this ASAP.
We could be better next season or we could be a lot worse. I'd prefer not to have Josh Heupel at OC and Trevor Knight at starting QB.
