im surprised they decided to run this as a story. i dont think people blindly just blame mcdonalds and assume eating there makes them fat. i think everyone knows the issue is the foods they serve contain a lot of calories. usually 1 meal alone contains 1500 calories. the main problem associated with most fast food places is saturated fat..which causes cardiovascular disease, some forms of cancer, and can fukk up your bone density.

im also suprised this guy calls himself a teacher. "im going to eat a caloric deficit and start exercising every day, then act surprised i lost weight."

also, its important to note that mcdonalds changed their ingredients drastically after super size me came out. they've lowered the amount of calories in a big mac, etc. so this guy and the supersize me guy are not eating the same stuff, so unfair to compare.

So true.

If I have a craving for McDonald's, I get a hamburger happy meal...it's around 500 calories and comes with apple slices or a yogurt for dessert. It's enough to satisfy my craving, and I don't have it often, but I don't allow myself to splurge either.

People are so quick to blame others for their poor choices.

what kind of toy do you get?

While the surplus of calories is what is getting us fat. Mcdonalds has additives in their food that affect your brains ability to feel satiety. They also have additives in your food that make you want to eat more often. It destroys portion control... and to top it off half the shyt in the food is cancerous. The buns have bromide in it which is slowly leaching away iodine from your body. The food lasts over 5 years without rotting.. it might no be making us fat ... but it's killing us.

I try to consume around 1,200 a day, but some people do eat around that much per meal - it's a lot.

lol I always tell them no toy...last week, I was in NYC and had McDonald's twice...first time, they gave me some kind of an owl toy and the other one was a puzzle or something...I gave them both back :P

No McDonald's for a while now!

I bought that Mcrib bullshyt the other day and it was the literal opposite of enjoyable. I could feel it sliding up and down my throat on my way home. I literally had to pullover the side of the road midway to vomit on the sidewalk.
