If you want proof, go to these hoods and spend some time with these kids, I have.
nikka I live in "the hood" :stopitslime:

if rap causes violence then why has raps popularity been going up, while violence has been going down?

why aren't suburban kids shooting each other up?

no deflections, just answer the questions

you serious? you think rap causes violence?:what:

What about before rap, the world and Chicago was much more violent before rap music was even a thing.

Poverty
Gun Laws
education system
human nature
mental illness
jealousy
starvation
fukking lead poisining

and the list goes on. remove rap and all this still exists.
Rap is a product of all of those elements and derived from lack of opportunity, leisure time, oppression and not having a platform where their voice couldn't be heard , thats what these sheltered niccas can't comprehend ...

From my experience, yes.

I'm from the ghetto and made up my mind to get the fukk out. It took a life changing experience for me to do it but it got done and I was gone.

Difference being, I had progerssive parents who were preparing me for the world while they were bettering themselves. One of the biggest problems the black youth face is lack of positive guidance. They don't see anyone else tryna do right so why should they?

fukk outta here with this bullshyt. some of the laziest people you'll ever meet are financially well off.

Is there proof that music doesn't influence?

The "proof" is that violence predates music so it can't possibly be a factor, never mind the fact that these poor and underprivileged kids spend inordinate amounts of time listening to and watching rappers rap about their glamorous lifestyles, the drugs, money, the killing, the designer fashion, the bytches etc.

These are the things that black people need to be seen protesting just as much if not more than police brutality.
protesting wont stop gang violence. Who/What would we protest?

but black people are out everyday trying to stop this violence. Its a myth created by white media that we dont

A bunch of dumb sorry ass nikkas too scared to face the facts and quick to blame everybody else for their problems.

nikkas don't wanna see change. They just wanna bytch and complain about how bad it is out here.
