if anything, it needs to be made easier for law biding citizen to obtain guns for concealed carry. you're always going to have criminals with guns. if you want to fight the problem, end the war on drugs. decriminalize EVERYTHING, tax it, give users a safe environment to do their shyt; and watch a lot of these gangs crumble.

Not only this, but there are black academics, businessmen, grassroots organizers, teachers and other important figures that work hard to help improve conditions in these neighborhoods and shed light on the suffering of black folks in these areas . But, of course, those who are not really interested or invested in the well-being of those in these communities, may not know this. There's actually a lot of work being done, but those who are carrying out the important work will not be acknowledged by mainstream media, as is typically the case in these matters.

90% of the video footage that most of us saw from baltimore and ferguson came from smart phones and social media.

don't hide behind that shyt...show me some tangible evidence of us actively protesting black on black crime...and i'm not talking about a pocket of little old ladies or 5 or 6 people standing outside a church. but hell, i'll take that if you can find it at this point.
