She isn't endorsing Trump at all. She isn't even saying he's not racist. What she is saying is, if Trump is only racist, then racist cacs should support him since it would be what they want HOWEVER because Trump is also classist, he isn't working in their best interest either. Trump isn't even good for the everyday racist, therefore his voting base should realize he's not really on their side.

Yeah he says and does stuff that's pretty racist, but I think the nuance here is the "Bernie girl" is saying yelling how much of a racist Trump is really may not mean much in the scheme of things in terms of persuasion.

And if you're not trying to persuade the voters who don't care if he is racist or racist themselves and enjoy his antics then what's the point of calling out his racism?

Secondly, this goes along with the point of the labeling him a racial opportunist. The reason is not trying to normalize his behavior or use semantics but to simply provide perspective.

Sorry for the mental gymnastics but politics isn't as black/white as we think it is.

And you're right there are going to be people that hate minorities regardless. But there are also people who choose to ignore the racism as well. To them yelling how racist Trump is may not go as deep as we see it. They probably have to hear Trump LITERALLY say "I hate n*ggers" just to actually believe he is racist.

It’s your moral obligation to call him out. What next? If he starts imprisoning and rounding people of colour up should we ignore that too if it doesn’t resonate with voters? Evil is evil and it should be condemned. As a black man racism for me has no grey areas. It’s a cancer. And the most powerful person in the USA is once again causing that cancer to grow.
