Immortality = a myth.
Also, death gives living meaning. A life without urgency isn't a life.
Be thankful that you are mortal, young one.
C'mon man, are you naive enough to think that our emotions won't be radically enhanced by then? By the time we (humans) have achieved immortality, technology will be more than capable of significantly improving our pleasure receptors (or our receptors for any desirable emotion). No one would be bored or have "lack of meaning" again, and I doubt anyone would legitimately want to end their life at that point.
