Neither Christmas nor Easter are 'pagan' holidays.

Those assertions (and a few more) come from a guy named Alexander Hislop's book in 1863 and have been thoroughly refuted.....

You posted a book that says they are pagan but not evidence they are not. :dwillhuh:

I posted the book so others can read it themselves and see exactly where those fraudulent ideas came from.

As far as refuting it, I've already done that several times. Here's one....

how so. i understand one is biological, but i'm asking how are they not linked

because gender is an expression of masculine/feminine values that change according to the environment, whereas sex is a universal constant unless born intersexed. gender is active. sex is a birthright.

shouldn't say they aren't linked socially - sex is usually used to determine gender expression. but when a person chooses to present themselves as the opposite gender, they are expressing themselves as that gender.

Eh..I dont even get into the whole gender topic because it's too confusing...I just ask what's your sex and keep it moving:yeshrug:

A quick DNA test will say if one is a man or woman

Neither Christmas nor Easter are 'pagan' holidays.

The events themselves are not of pagan origin. The DATES that we celebrate them are. The events surrounding the birth of Jesus (most likely) could not have happened in December as described. But the pagan winter solstice holiday falls around the end of December, so to make the process of converting those people into Christians, they "re-taught" the meaning of the holiday.

Same for Easter. The "first Sunday in April" was sprinkled into the texts later on. That's why there are two different "accepted" dates.
