Not in the morbid sense like how most people take it when I say it, but as in an after-image, much like the stars you see at night that have long been dead. This has always been the case but it's becoming more apparent because there is no cohesive shared reality that can be used anymore.

It used to be held in place by how little we knew, then by mass media especially tell-lie-vision. Even if it was falsly constructed, it was easier to herd people in this or that direction, shape world views and 'facts' until everyone stopped listening to the news to go and create their own road show.

Now it's more evident than ever that we are indeed living in our own individual worlds. There is little to nothing "out there" to know at this point, the 'new age' of adventure is 4-dimenisonal and you can't google map your way through the ether, the inner-net. You have to dive in or continue staring at the world in front of your face wondering why it's making less and less sense.

Wonder how many of them will yelp when they reveal the new name of the one brings the change and bears water for the age as they cling to their instructions and mistake the map for the territory thanks to faulty directions and a lack of introspection. Will the penny drop? The Game is rigged.

OP i was just having a convo about this. When i was a younging and say the chicks i was feeling in my highschool wasnt giving me no play my grandpa would say “go talk to girls from another highschool”. U could start fresh in another town,city,school etc. thats how nerd broads went to college and became hoes and the high school hoes switched to good girls etc. there was no digital footprint of your fukkery and u could reset. The same with adults who were the weirdos at one job but cool in another.
