Im trying to swap the motor on an 04 Altima that is in Georgia, problem is Im in Delaware/Philadelphia (back and forth).
Is there any way for me to find a skillful/cheap mechanic in GA all the way from up here?
Everyone is going to say they have the best prices and fastest/most reliable work online, so besides the obvious what are my options?

I have an old J here who is sick with motor swaps and only charges me 400.
Do I have any hope of finding that out of state :lupe:

Alright.
Suppose you lived in Ohio at one point, and you have a friend there that is going to the military. He no longer wants his vehicle and won't have much use for it once he deploys, so he is giving it to you. Car looks great on the outside but runs like shyt (and will probably not make it from Ohio to New York).

How would you go about getting the car in Ohio fixed while you are in New York?

I would ship it to myself.

If you can't drive it up, I would recommend trying to find a car transporter to tow the car from Georgia to Delaware. Then, your mechanic can access do it all: pull the motor from the Altima, swap it out with the old motor in your car.

Well if this is your case, can you try to get the car driven to an Amtrak station in Sandford, Florida. There's an Amtrak car transporter service that moves cars up and down the east coast, up to Lorton, Virginia. Mainly middle-class retired people who want to move their car from Florida to the Northeast in the summer (because they can't drive it), and then back down in the winter.
Then you would have to drive from Virginia to Delware
