i agree with what someone said earlier, the hip hop group is essentially dead nowadays whether thats label driven or whatever. the only group to debut this millennium and go platinum is nappy roots. that basically says it all. everything else had basically been one solo emcee doing a group album with his crew after he had already blown up.

you just dont see that tight core group of 2-4 members anymore. at this point were likely to see a goodie mob album first, and with cee-lo's transformation and their hiatus being even longer than outkast's, who knows what would come of that or if it will come to fruition.
