Like it or not...but ANDRE 3000 is really commited to his "ART".......the commercial aspect of the business really agitates him.......

although I don't neccesarily agree with every decision ANDRE 3000 has made...I highly respect him for sticking to this guns and telling not trying to compromise for the status quo
THIS!!!

I always wonder how much money has 3 stacks costed Outkast. :jbhmm: He HAS to be 50 million plus. :why:
That's really selfish of him to not think about his so called "brother" :snoop:
Even if he felt like he was "selling out" you still have families to take care of :to:

Yall nikkas spend more time being upset on Big Boi's behalf than he does actually being upset :heh: i could see if Big was out here sayin he been lookin for Andre to run his fade and dude been duckin but they still fukk with each other so why yall nikkas mad? That nikka still got 5x more money than every nikka on the coli combined so why yall actin like he's broke and out on the street and Dre is ruining his life by turning down money? Oh wow he doesn't have that extra 1.5 mil to get that new Bugatti he wanted cuz of Dre :to: so sad

on top of that, one day yall shyt on artists for doing shyt just for the check

but when it comes to Dre yall shyt on him for NOT doing shyt just for the check, it aint like the nikka said "i don't feel like it " dude had reasons for turning down things

yall would sell yall own mama's out for a check

I would love another Outkast project and an Andre 3000 solo rap album, but I also know that artists grow and change and as a fan I have to accept that and just be grateful for all the great music they've given us over the years.

Explain this

It's the NFL wisening up from a business perspective and realizing there's no other stage where an artist gets to perform in front of that many people at once. Look what it did for Missy Eliot. Also you can't force a market that ins't there. If labels are willing to pay then let them pay.

dre 3k all time great mc

BUT on da real - da fukk was so important for u to perform this entire shytty song
:mindblown::mindblown::mindblown:

He produced and wrote that song...it took 2 years to make

It's a great record which borrows from funk rock and Prince/Beatles...with sales to back it up

He's still an idiot for preventing Big Boi from gettin money like that

Out here in my damn drawls
Selfishly, as a fan, I'm happy that Outkast didn't get as big as they should have. When you open yourself up to a broader audience, there's expectations and compromises to be made in order to cash those checks. Artists start to lose freedom. Next thing you know, you see your favorite artists out here looking funny in the light

:scust:

Imagine if Dead Prez got huge. There would be no way they'd talk the shyt that they talked if they had to diversify their subject matter for a full american audience.

Look at what happened to Kanye, Common, Cube, etc.
