Swizz Beatz Says A Tribe Called Quest & OutKast 'Verzuz' Is Happening

In a newly surfaced clip that landed on Twitter, Swizz acknowledged that the two groups would be squaring off. In the video, he can be seen saying “[It’s] pending. I wasn’t even supposed to say.” He also added, “Q-Tip is my brother, but that man. Andre 3000, but that man.” That subtle jab could allude to ongoing copyright issues that are required before Verzuz events are even announced.

catologue quality wise they are about the same ...but outkast music just has a different energy that tribe can’t match...and they’ve touched more generations than tribe has ..meaning nikkas like lil baby probably grew up on their later music..(which is the kinda crowd that tunes in and dictates how these things go a lot of the times)

outkast is one of the few artists who I can still listen to their smash worldwide hits and I don’t feel like it’s outdated or anything
