Nah, i aint sayin its a crime bruh or you cant say nothing, I'm sayin make a thread in event staff if you really wanna make a difference instead of just random threads. At least that way we can built & see how to make the booth better.

Everything cant be stickied & just because something is stickied doesnt mean people are gonna check it out. Look @ the mollywaterco thread in TLR, that shyt doin numbers & its not stickied. If nikkas wanna discuss or check something they will. Alot of times people scroll right past stickied threads w/o even looking...
Come on bruh, its not JUST commerical shyt thats gettin upped. Tek & singer often sticky underground/ up & coming artist shyt. Ask @hustlemania how many times he's @'d on of the mods "this should be stickied" & its gotten stickied. It might not stay up for that long though because it gets taken down after its been like a day w/ no posts. Makes no sense to keep it upped if nobody is checking/discussing it.

Seriously man I just come to that Fans Of Soulful/Laidback/Jazz/Instrumental Music {Enter} thread now. Most of the shyt being talked about on the main page is just utter nonsense. No kind of meaningful input and just kids bored making troll threads. Been saying it for years but the music doesn't seem to matter anymore if a fukk type story isn't attached to it. I've actually been thinking of making an Overlooked Hip-Hop thread due to so much music is coming out and us finding a way to weed through the bullshyt but then I just figure it will fall off the page and disappear like most of my threads.man.. this place fell off.. quick and, badly..

Not that I don't laugh at some of these threads @hustlemania is talking about but I always come for the music and music discussion first. Then the funny photoshop / shyt talking / whatever type threads later. It is always music first though.
It's not even about having a forum that's just lets spin on our heads while writing posts in our adidas suits keeping it funky and fresh b-boy status. It really just has a lot of unfunny people doing the same shyt day in and day out that need to be moved away some how.

There's a group of posters I know for a fact will support that thread because we always talk about and share new music with each other.I didn't mean it was just the commercial ish but I don't think the balance is quite right, when KRS drops new projects I don't see them stickied, I'm not sure why, a brother like that put in his work for Hip Hop. Brother Ali, K-Rino, particularly Brother Ali's recent project because it was free lol, and it was dope, and people were feeling it but it got lost in the mix while some next threads got stickied. No-one's gonna do a perfect job so I'm not dissing anybody, I just think that a better balance could be achieved. Am willing to try help with that if asked. Sometimes I feel also trends should be set rather than always just followed.

It is one of the better threads. I don't check it daily because the amount of music can be overwhelming, but I check a few pages every once in a while or drop something myself.
Aside from TEK I don't even know who the mods are in The Booth.
I don't have much to add here apart from what's already been said. I do have a couple things to say:
1. All those weird "rumor" beauty parlor type threads need to be deleted. As soon as they're posted.
2. People that only post about 1-2 rappers should be banned, because they're either an obvious industry plant, or someone that would be better served going to a forum solely about those 1-2 rappers. Rap has been around close to 40 years, if you only like 1 rapper you should probably go back to whatever genre you were into prior to that rapper's debut, because it's obviously not for you.
3. People who post variations of the same post or thread, day after day, should be banned. "Nacho cheese I'm Castro" is the most obvious example of this. We don't need to hear about how you hate Nas, for literally years, across different message boards.
4. Obvious stan bait threads should be deleted. Napoleon, an obvious Drake stan, made a thread talking about people left Kendrick Lamar's performance. Not only did he not fact check what he was saying, any video to the event showed a full arena. But I guess Drake doesn't like KL, so he felt compelled to make the thread.
I doubt any of this will get addressed, because the sad truth is The Booth isn't an important forum. It's important to us, but in the grand scheme of The Coli, it's nowhere near the most important/popular forum on the site. There is sports, TV show, video game threads in the sub-forums that are 10x the size of the largest Booth threads.
