They were trying to run a goal line pick play. (My high school coach had us praticing that, but we never ran it.) I saw that 39 and Butler read that shyt like some pros. I was going to post how people should give them and Patriots staff more props, but you have a point. This is exactly the play you run to bum wrs in man coverage on the goal line. Belicheck not flinching and calling a time out caught em off guard.
On a side note, the whole playoffs have been nothing but fukkery with every NFC team losing to Karma (
Russ talking about God's will) and the Patriots willing to do anything to hold that trophy (and getting away with it.)
