strict dress codes are for people who can't secure financial freedom. the whole mentality behind your thought process is about caring about what OTHERS think because YOU NEED to make some impression on them with your presentation hence "makes you look lame". Some people actually dress how they want.

you can wear clothes from any category with style if you have an eye for fashion. business, professional, athleisure, even "urban" whatever that means today

you dudes sound basic as hell constantly running with this narrative about fashion limitations and age. the limitations are in your creativity and individuality.

this whole notion of you can't wear X at X age is for drones, pawns and the afflicted. break your mold and programming. But honestly most of you can't because you are followers in every aspect of life. this is social programming it's not even your opinion.

I'm mid 30's, and I think it's cool to do both, but toning down some of the more extreme elements of more youthful fashions

I phased out some of the Gisueppe Zanotti stuff, very flashy gold designs. Stopped some of the Louboutin, spikes.

I can wear ripped jeans, and I can wear regular ones, I have Zegna's shoes for more "grown up", and Dolce for the flashy times.

There is a quote like "the quickest way to look old is too dress young", I'm not going to wear crazy baggy jeans, and a sweatshirt, I'll look nuts. I have like salt and pepper hair now.
