Who do you respect more as a rapper/bussinessman? I can't lie, even though I rock with camel more than prrrrr! sonically, I'd have to give it to Stunna. I like Jay but it's like he's trying to live out the Narrative of Frederick Douglas and be the redemption of Iceberg Slim all at once.
No hate, it's just kind of corny because he tries to be the big homie
when in reality he is Kanye's son.
Despite my criticisim, the dude has got taste and so many different flows (this one's for this song, the next one he'll switch up).
Just considering the investment on a label, Baby seems like he profited a higher return with CM, too. I don't know the facts so school me if I'm wrong? It just appears to me that the Cash Money revamp was a way better look than what happened to ROC. Furthermore, Birdman has a rap style that only he can pull off. His adlibs, his habits of repeating lines, and the simple presentation of his subject matter make him a great rapper to listen to. Lowkey (or maybe not) his music is actually consistently inspirational and entertaining without feeling contrived.
