Black boys are getting screwed over more because they're more of a marginalized group than other boys, but are you really gonna argue intersectional feminists are only fukking with them? Look at education stats for all boys and the drop out rates we're seeing. Something is happening across the board. I'd agree there is more of an incentive/interest in destroying black boys because that's always been the case in this country. I've seen black women academics making these arguments on twitter but who do you think they're in the vanguard for? What world do yall live in that males are "coddled" by their families (generally speaking)? The majority of homeless people are men (BM with one of the highest rates), the majority of people in prison are men (BM with the highest rate), the majority of victims of violent crime are men (BM being the highest rate), the majority of high school dropouts are male (BM having the highest rates).

That's a societal issue across cultures and races, it's not just a black boy/men thing. Boys get coddled, girls get pushed out and expected to be independent/get married/etc. You see it in Hispanic culture, Italian culture (The Sopranos put it on full display with AJ and Meadow...), etc.

The problem is that the economy has shifted so much that these men can't find the success they once did. For decades a man could skip college, fukk up and fall into a nice factory/blue collar job. With enough money to get married, have kids, buy a home, and send the kids to college. Those jobs are largely gone or restricted today, and men haven't really reacted. Instead men are skipping college, getting low paying jobs, and living just enough to take care of themselves with no shot at buying a house or raising a family. This is BAD.

Type A men are still eating out here but slacker-type guys are way behind. Tony and AJ are great examples.

Tony came up at a time where a guy like him (white, male, nothing special) could fall into a nice setup with money, cars, heauxs...everything. AJ is obviously softer than his pops but he's essentially the same kind of guy...except he can't just "fall into" some shyt like Pops.

We love our sons and train our daughters....every culture struggles with this except for Asian and African immigrants. They expect boys to get straight A's, do extracurricular activities, help clean up the crib and they better not so much as utter a word of back-talk. My parents raised me like that and I'm gonna raise my kids the same way. Gotta raise the bar with our sons. Not just about "being a man" but actually aiming high in school and not being a knucklehead for no reason.
