We love our sons and train our daughters....every culture struggles with this except for Asian and African immigrants. Great breakdown. Tony came up in the 70s under dikkey Moltisanti and under his own father who was a made guy. Tony got to witness hella men with no particular skills on the fringes of society, just criminal their way into the American dream. Tony couldn’t even make it as a varsity athlete. And ended up with a networth in the 7 figures with a large suburban home. AJ can’t even dream of doing what Tony did in the modern age.

You are far less likely to end up homeless,not end up in jail when you arent coddled. But you just listed a small minority of about 10 percent of black men at best. Are we going to ignore the overwhelming majority of black men not in prison or gangs? Who are often directionless,no 5 year plan. Making babies knowing they mama will help out. Cant keep a job because they arent used to being held accountable for shyt. So they end up going off on somebody when they cant have their way. What world do yall live in that males are "coddled" by their families (generally speaking)? The majority of homeless people are men (BM with one of the highest rates), the majority of people in prison are men (BM with the highest rate), the majority of victims of violent crime are men (BM being the highest rate), the majority of high school dropouts are male (BM having the highest rates).
