the second wave didnt pioneer anything. and even if it did, e-40 still wouldnt be a pioneer because he didnt break any significant ground outside of his homebase. also, that 2nd wave would include 2pac. are you gonna try to say that e-40 was bigger than 2pac?? what did e-40 sprinkle in yall drinks?
hammer is easily a top 5 name in rap history. cant forget digital underground. meanwhile, e-40 is a local yocal in the grand scheme of things. nothing pioneerish about that.
you can argue that young bleed is a bigger pioneer, seeing that he had one of the biggest breakthrough hits for no limit who blew the south up.

Fool e40 pioneered is own style nikkas been stealing from that nikka for decades dude he is partly the reason nikkas came up with the word ebonics like I said he is the face of bay area hip hop & has accomplished a hell of a lot more than young bleed & freeway.
