No need. Pick up Super Mario Maker. There's several good levels in there of all difficulty levels.

I own mario maker. Thats not a spiritual sequel. Its taking stuff that already exists and letting you change it within those parameters

Then you lost, because there is literally dozens of 2D games on Steam. And I don't mean some low budget bullshyt, either. If I showed you some of these games you'd think they were from the SNES era, or in some cases PS1 like "Symphony Of The Night".

Man I can't say enough good about this game.
Graphics, music, gameplay and even story are on point.
Why isn't this game getting more recognition?
As crowded as 2d platformers are on the indie scene this one stands out as cleary better than the rest. Only one I can think of that rivals this was Ori, and that had Microsoft money behind it.

Because it is pc only and has no marketing behind it
