Owls have softer feathers than other birds. It does make them a bit more vulnerable to the elements like wind and rain though.

I saw an owl a few months ago on this trail I take almost shytted on myself 
I had never seen one in the wild till then. Usually you’ll hear birds making sounds and shyt but this motherfukker was just sitting on a branch looking at me with them big ass eyes. Had to pull my phone out and do my googles to see what I should do. I just backed up slowly & kept eye contact with it to make sure it wouldn’t sneak on me

There used to be a white owl that lived in the trees next to our house growing up. That mother fukker was scary. It didn't help that my parents would tell us that if you killed a white owl it would turn into a dead body. I wanted no part of that fukker. Now I'm an adult and know they're just beautiful and intelligent creatures.

I don't think I heard anything now that you mention. Do yall see owls regularly? I didn't even think they lived in my area
One time me and my friend hit an owl on a 2 lane highway at night. It was crazy cause all we saw was the owl flying, saw and heard it hit the windshield and then there were feathers everywhere
