Survive the drought
I'm sure if no one truly wanted to watch that and ESPNs ratings and web hits went down because of showing it the first time, they would not have replayed it.ESPN showing him kissing cake off his mans mouth all weekend was an example of them "shoving shyt down our throats"...
.
I don't watch ESPN like that, but fact is, the media is only gonna make and re-hash stories that are getting a lot of hits/attention. It does them no good (as far as getting good ratings to sell ads) to keep playing something that people don't like.
Y'all can say that y'all hate Michael Sam being shown, but the fact of the matter is, by talking about it more, even from a dislike perspective, you draw attention to it, make others aware of it, they get to Googling themselves to find more information or a link is provided by the person speaking about it, and more hits for ESPN or whoever on their Michael Sam story. In their web analytics, it's showing as a hot story, why wouldn't they keep playing it? It'd be stupid not to if you're in the business of making money.
If you don't like something, the quickest way to get it off the TV, papers, major websites, etc. is really just to STOP talking about it. Because even when you express negativity about it, you're still talking about it, and generating interest on the subject and making that whole flow of events happen even though you don't even like the story.
Whether negatively or positively, people truly LIKE talking about Michael Sam (and gay people in general), so yeah, the stories won't stop about Sam or gays because people like talking about those subjects.
everyone is kissing ass if they speak against it they will be fired

Because I sure as hell don't
