A male American bulldog was saved from euthanization on Thursday after the dogs original owner turned him over to animal control because he said he was gay.
The owner apparently took the dog to Jackson Rabies Control Animal Shelter in Tennessee after he saw him mounting another dog, according to this post on Facebook.
A woman named Stephanie Fryns, who is connected to the no-kill shelter Woof Connections, posted on Facebook her plans to adopt the dog on Thursday. Earlier this morning she posted: I managed to get here before the ac officers even.. lol.
