With regard to forming a shell company to pay a player..

No this doesn't have federal implications at all.
It would only have federal implications if it wasn't filing taxes.
Shell companies are entirely legal.

This would only have NBA issues and it would be around bypassing the cap, which wouldn't be a legal issue but an NBA administrative issue.

=======
Broncos did something like this to bypass the cap in the NFL. That is how they were able to keep the team together for their 90s super bowl run.

Take the opposite position of anything this dumb ass posts

this is a stupid take.
He exposed corruption in the NFLPA and they fired the guy and cleaned house.
That actually made the playerrs union stronger.
It was a huge story also.

This story is not that big as its common.
Its known for instance in the nFL, that while Tom Brady took a low salary he got speaking engagements from Mr. Kraft that suplemented what he left in terms of salary.
Same with most cowboys players, they get endorsements for just being on the team through other companies or completely independent companies.

Its all about taking care of your shyt. LeBron, KD, Steph, they have the same type of deals. How do you think everyone with Golden State got put on with silicon valley investments and as spokesmen.
I wouldn't go that far considering they were still at one point considering voting in JC Tretter, which means they didn't learn their lesson. It's going to take years to build back the trust in that union between the players and their union reps by their own admission, which they just don't have with their last bargaining chip on deck.

You seem like a stupid person, because I literally am not taking the opposite position of anything.
You just are so simple that you don't understand the difference between violating the law versus violoating corporate policy or membership agreement.

Its easily addition by subtraction, mainly because they didn't know.
JC Trotter would be, like or not a known commodity, so it would be better because atleast everyone would know.

The union's trust doesn't need to be built up, the players need to get serious about who they elect instead of just listening to their agents.

not surprised this is happening but I am surprised at how sloppy they were

gonna be interesting to see what the punishment is if any

IMO all parties involved should be suspended a year and take draft pick from the Clippers
If true I was thinking the same, but what picks, aren't most of their 1st going to OKC for the foreseeable future?

Guessing they would start taking the ones that are available as they come, so they would be ass out on picks for what like a decade or something.

If Stern goes lenient on this, he's might as well resign. This is a competitive balance & integrity issue. He has to come down hard for the best interest of the sport, period.

Edit: this the shyt NIL is literally built on. J remember Spencer Rattler got a deal with Bojangles and he posted one IG pic of a table with some food on it and that was it for the entirety of the deal.

So you have no evidence of strength just your hopeful wish...in labor issues public issues and in fighting within a group makes the union weak which is pablo did by making it public .

Nfl had collusion and nothing happened thus far but only showed the players are fools

It does need to be built up because the players put their faith in their union rep doing the right thing and they completely failed them.

I’m gonna watch but there’s a blind spot with Pablo’s shyt. He’s not smarter than these lawyers. Like with him ‘exposing’ NFL advisory councils.:comeon:

These things are quadruple shrink wrapped in legalese and structured in a way to be legally safe. So yea he’s removing a layer of secrecy but he’s not exposing anything from a legal standpoint

Y’all hype these as if folk are scrambling and tossing papers around in an office bc Pablo has outsmarted them yet again :aicmon:

wtf this dumb nikka blabbering about
