Kawhi being involved means nothing he is a celeb just like all the other celebs paid by the org.

He didn't move sloppy or strange.

The only party that moved sloppy was balmer and the clippers. They needed more layers there and balmer shouldn't have had his name anywhere in that organization or advisory or friend of board members or management . That's all.

Stop trying to blame khawi or his uncle. Some of y'all have a strange mindset
Who is blaming Kawhi or his uncle?

All I’m saying is that it was a sloppy setup.

Yes, in non-sloppy setups, the celebration being paid is doing commercials, marketing and other appearances to justify the pay. Pablo showed a Robert Downey Jr. commercial and quotes from other celebs where their pay can be justified.

Kawhi has zero of that. No public appearances, PR quotes, commercials, yet he’s getting 7M a year.

Kawhi isn’t responsible for hiding the links. That’s Ballmer and Aspire’s job, but they didn’t which is why Pablo was easily able to connect the dots.

Really doesn't matter what everyone else did.
Doesn't even matter if he did fulfill the likes that's between that company's management and board and kawhi.

They didn't sue him so kawhi is good. I really don't see why kawhi is being brought up at all in this situation.

Aspiration did hide the links until they went bankrupt. If your thinking is companies expect bankruptcy I don't know what to tell you, that isn't realistic.

Even the someone had to tell Pablo to look there.

This story picking up steam which will likely lead to Silver at the very least speaking on it and maybe opening an investigation means that this shyt does matter.

The league will have to either sweep this under the rug or investigate which would get ugly.

I can appreciate this brand of journalism over trade gossip :ehh:

If true just based on the Joe Smith precedent I would imagine there’s significant penalties. It’s one of those things that we all know happens but you’re never supposed to be sloppy enough to get caught

We've seen so many sports organizations afraid to do full investigations like the multiple players accused of steroids that went nowhere, or to hand out the big punishments like they used to like in the case of Paterno and Penn St
